Bespectacled

It is amazing how blind we really are. There is, amongst those who don’t count themselves part of the general public, a seemingly pervasive belief in their own perceptiveness. I freely admit I held myself in the same exalted state of sightliness. Alas I was fooled by the mesmerising blending of colour in the distance. But now, well now I see kiddies. Two little pieces of manipulated glass, rammed into a flimsy hunk of bent steel (or some other mineral composite) have allowed me to behold all your dirty little secrets from afar. Don’t fool yourself, you cannot hide, for I have become Bespectacled.
